Liberal Media Searches For Hoffa
A little while back, I listed several reasons why the tired battle cry of the liberal media is not only old, it's actually completely inaccurate. Please note, this is an "open" list in progress, so by all means, feel free to email or comment your additions as well.

so, a guy who has been dead for decades takes precedence over- oh say osama bin laden. while i know that that used to be the cia's domain- homeland security is a big blanket now- so i just figured everyone in there was looking for terrorists. huh, who would have thought? at least they left the raccoon alone.
What a waste of time and money
I hope the raccoons that smoke in my attic are more responsible. Maybe I should get them some ashtrays or even a fire extinquisher. They do have thumbs you know.
Lets give lasers to the raccoons! That way they can protect the school parking lots, my lawn and identity. If we just teach them to work, then we can use them as migrant workers and "send all them illegals home." Those have to be American raccoons, ain't no way the minute men would allow them to cross the border, looking all shady with those masks like a terrorist.

Hey Brian, you must not tune in to the news too often. Anyway , since when is any of that news, what do you want them to report ....."Hey, people are still Hungry, tune in at 11 " .? ..... " Some people don't have homes, back to you Conni.." .... Seriously, just because you yourself don't see that when you turn on for twelve minutes to any of the 24 hour news stations, doesn't mean it's not being reported ? And since you don't see it, it means there is no Liberal Media Bias ? I know Jeremy will read this, and go on a diatribe about how there isn't a liberal media bias and how it is in fact a Conservative media bias we are stricken with, but C'mon Brian...Seriously. I am not saying there is a media bias of any nature, so jeremy, before you throw on an old Politically incorrect VHS bootleg to get pumped for how smart you are and how you're going to show all of us, just calm down.

I've even had another anonymous commenter here, who basically made the point that in some instances I'm too conservative! I could have used you...you're like a finicky cat - one moment you're by my side, all loyal and cuddly, and the next you're all like, "talk to the paw, bitch."
All I get here these days are people agreeing with the posts…and 90% of them are people I’ve paid off to say that shit! (Brian and Time, the check's in the mail)
Anyway, I don’t necessarily believe that most of the mainstream media has an active conservative bias.
What I do feel, however is that they have other biases (pronounced BY-ass-eez).
There’s the “get it first” first bias that leads to shitty reporting (see: Dan Rather).
There’s the “sensationalist” bias (see: The British Nanny, the crazy bitch who drowned her kids)
There’s the “scare the shit out of the public” bias (see: bird flu, monkey pox, anthrax attacks, the terror alert level scrolling by every 11 minutes on cable news)
There’s the “sex/adultery” bias (ever hear about the last president who was caught with the intern? Went by the name of Clinton I think)
There’s the ”celebrity” bias (ever see Michael Jackson or OJ on the news?)
And those are just a few…
So again, my greater point is that the media absolutely 100% doesn’t have a liberal bias, and even though they were lazy about Iraq and didn’t really give a shit about accountability with Bush (except for when Time Magazine recently made him man of the year) until people were literally floating down the street near the 9th Ward in New Orleans, I wouldn’t even call it a conservative bias either.
I’d call it laziness, I’d call it corporate-owned, I’d call it totally consolidated, I’d call it self-censoring, and basically I’d call it fucking pathetic on most days.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever seen the studies on Sunday talk shows and their inviting conservative guests almost 2 to 1 over liberal guests, or if you have ever listened to country music radio, or if you’ve ever listened to AM radio, or if you’ve ever seen cable news, or the coverage of the president's speeches, etc…but there is much more to be said for the media being corporate and conservative, more than it is free, independent and liberal. That’s for damn sure.
Anyway, start chewing into some of these Taliban-loving liberals before they come to your house and set your American flag-covered SUV on fire :-)
